The Human Resources Division is committed to working strategically with the diverse divisions within the agency to identify and respond to its changing needs. We provide leadership and guidance in the development, implementation, and administration of policies and procedures, to foster a positive work environment.

The Human Resources Division’s mission is to:

  • prepare payroll (both for the agency’s state employees and contractual employees)
  • evaluate classification and compensation
  • oversee employment transactions
  • actively conduct agency recruitment
  • oversee performance appraisal reviews
  • oversee contract workers/internships
  • maintain employee records
  • perform risk management
  • organizational planning
