JACKSON – As our office continues to certify 2020 General Election results, voters across the state should prepare for several runoff elections set for tomorrow, Tuesday, November 24.
Secretary of State Michael Watson, in his first year as Mississippi’s chief elections official, joins Mississippi Today political reporters Bobby Harrison and Geoff Pender to discuss the state’s 2020 elections and possible reforms the state could implement in the future.

Secretary of State Michael Watson called the November 3rd General Election a “fantastic election,” at least for Mississippi. He credited that to the team of Circuit Clerks and poll workers across the state who took on the task in unprecedented times.
