JACKSON, Miss. – Secretary of State Michael Watson reveals the 2024-2028 Mississippi Official & Statistical Register, better known as the Blue Book.

Mississippi is known around the world for producing some of the most interesting authors, musicians, athletes, and artists of all types. The cover design of the 2024-2028 Blue Book features photographs of numerous murals found in towns and cities all across the state. These murals bring to life a visual representation showcasing the places so many Mississippians call home.

“We are extremely excited about the 2024-2028 Blue Book as it truly highlights our vivacious state and those who have invested in its growth,” said Secretary Michael Watson. “Specifically, you will find profiles of five successful Mississippians who each have unique and interesting life stories. As you will see, they have common threads about the values learned growing up in Mississippi, and how they have relied on those principles to achieve their goals. They all share a spirit of optimism for Mississippi’s future because of the incredible people and potential our state has to offer.”

The Secretary of State's Office is required by law to produce the Blue Book every four years following a general election. The publication is a detailed overview of the Magnolia State, providing short biographies of elected officials, election results, and contact information for federal, state, county, and city government offices.

A digital version of the 2024-2028 Blue Book is now available on the Secretary of State's website. Printed copies will be available free to the public in early 2025.
