JACKSON, Miss. — Secretary of State Michael Watson is pleased to announce a virtual Mississippi Businesses Against Trafficking (MBAT) Summit to be held the morning of July 24, 2023.

JACKSON, Miss – Pursuant to Mississippi Code Section 23-15-817, the Secretary of State’s Office is required to publish a list of all candidates for the Statewide or Legislative Office who failed to file a campaign disclosure report by the dates specified in Section 23-15-807(b).

It was recently announced that Mississippi reached a record-low unemployment rate in April for the second consecutive month. This record low should be no surprise to those who have followed our state’s recent business and economic trends.

JACKSON, Miss – As a reminder, Monday, May 15, 2023,  at 11:59 p.m. is the deadline for all charities to file if one of the following apply:

JACKSON, Miss – On May 11, 2023, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the Secretary of State’s Office’s technology services experienced a sudden outage of its primary web server.

JACKSON, Miss – As a reminder, Periodic Campaign Finance Reports are due in the appropriate office for 2023 candidates and political committees supporting or opposing 2023 candidates by 5:00 p.m. on May 10, 2023.
